A risky road less traveled. Not pursuing a 4-year degree was a big decision. After studying in Rome, Italy, it was decided that the options, journalism or mass communications, wouldn’t fit Victoria’s true career vision (not to mention the racks of student debt). She decided education would be a combination of hands on experience and the pursuit of continual education – enrolling in at least one professional development course per year. Drawing from a tech background with several internships under her belt at the onset of her career, she saw that information was ever-evolving and constantly changing. Once a set of skills were learned, a new set of skills were replacing them.
